When and where? For me would probably be my 30th birthday at the Palace--was quite memorable.

Sun, January 11, 2004 - 9:37 PMEven though I have been a Cramp fan for many years now...I think about ten or so...I have never had the opportunity to see them live... :( -

Re: Best Live Show -
Mon, January 12, 2004 - 1:15 PMI've had the pleasure of seeing The Cramps several times. But one time that really stood out was at one the Hootenannys in Orange County. There were so many shitty bands playing in the hot summer sun. Then out comes The Cramps. A pale Lux Interior dressed in leather. Poison Ivy looking as hot as ever. They rocked the place out. It was a breath of fresh air. They made up for all the mediocrity of that event (along with X later in the day).

Tue, January 13, 2004 - 4:51 AMFor me the best live show I've seen the Cramps play was in '85 on the Date With Elvis tour when they played the Edinburgh Empire. Even the support, The Stingrays, rocked despite the bizarre setting (The Empire was a bingo hall that has since been demolished). -

Tue, April 20, 2004 - 7:00 PMi was at their last show in chicago, that was nuts. Some idiot was pissing everybody off and going on stage and their roadie got cut or something. Long story short, Ivy stopped playing to kick the shit out of this guy when he was on stage and i think Chopper got in on it too. Needless to say, Ivy played out the set, immediately walked off and no encore. Rock & Roll, it's great. -

Tue, April 20, 2004 - 7:25 PMI was at that show with Pat. You can tell that for a Cramps show, it was terrible, the whole 'no encore' and whatnot. But it was still the best live show I've ever been to. Lux is an excellent showman.

Thu, May 6, 2004 - 11:42 PMHalloween '82(may have been in '81 those years are kind of a blur now) at Devonshire Downs. Just the crowd itself was an amazing sight. The original Vampira was there and people were freaking out on her. There was some guy dressed up as a nun with a real sheeps head wrapped up in a blanket like it was a baby. Strange fucking night. -

Fri, May 7, 2004 - 10:57 AMFor most of the 90's The Cramps played in San Francisco almost every Halloween. I saw them at The Warfield in I think 97', they were great but being in the balcony I was a little to far away from the stage.
